The Chicago mafia is paying off the MLB umpires to call the games subtly in favor of the White Sox. There's been at least 4 calls that have gone their way that were pretty questionable. I can't remember them all, but two of them have been glaringly obvious to those who have instant replay. Game 2 ALCS, Pierzynski's bluff to get on first, which basically won the game and Game 2 WS where Dye was called hit by a pitch, but really it hit the bat and he loaded the bases. Then Kenerko hit a grand slam to basically win the game. (I'll admit, I was a little nervous that they wouldn't win this one.) And speaking of grand slam, I fucking missed it by switching the channel between the game and the movie 8 Women. Ok, hot women speaking French vs grand slam for the team I'm cheering on in the world series. Tough call. At least I caught the replay. It's not like I've bet money on these games or anything. Gambling seems to be the one addiction I've managed to avoid.
Oh well if my theory is right or not. I shouldn't look a gift ump in the mouth. Just don't let those Texan bastards win the series and I'll be okay.
